Warranty Period
Our responsibility is governed strictly by the terms outlined here. The legal warranty covers defects occurring within six months of the date of customer receipt. This warranty period begins upon the delivery of goods to the customer.
Cricket Bat Warranty
At DSC, we stand behind the quality of our cricket bats with a 6-month warranty covering blade and handle damage incurred during normal use. It's important to note that English Willow, being a naturally soft timber, may develop slight damage like face cracks or dents during play. Proper preparation, usage, and maintenance can minimize such issues.
Most bat damages can be repaired by our expert bat makers. If damage is due to a manufacturing defect rather than customer fault, we'll repair or replace the bat at our discretion. However, certain types of damage are not covered by warranty:
- Damage from excessive use of bowling machine balls.
- Damage from mis-hit and mistimed shots.
- Damage from moisture or dry/heat conditions.
- Insufficient preparation or oiling.
- Damage due to unprotected use or cheap, hard balls.
- Damage from severe edging.
- Each claim for bat damage will be evaluated individually to determine if it qualifies for warranty coverage.
Cricket Protectives Warranty (Gloves, Pads, Thigh Pads, Arm Guards, Chest Guards)
All DSC cricket protective items are covered by a 6-month warranty against seam or stitching splits. Please note, wear and tear or damage due to heavy use is not covered. Decisions regarding warranty claims are made at the discretion of DSC.
Cricket Shoes Warranty
DSC cricket shoes are backed by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing faults, including seam or stitching splits, spike blowouts, or sole separation. This warranty does not cover wear and tear or damage from heavy use. All warranty decisions are subject to DSC's discretion.
Cricket Helmets Warranty
Every DSC cricket helmet is protected by a 6-month warranty covering size adjuster breakage. However, damages resulting from ball impacts are not covered. Warranty determinations are made at the discretion of DSC.
Cricket Bags Warranty
All DSC cricket bags are backed by a 6-month warranty covering split seams or stitching, faulty zippers, and defective wheel(s). Please note, this warranty does not cover damage due to excessive wear and tear. Warranty decisions are made at the discretion of DSC.
Exclusions to the Warranty:
Warranty for all DSC products will be void in the following cases:
- Normal wear and tear of the product.
- Improper transport or storage by the customer or logistics company.
- Improper or incorrect use, insufficient/improper maintenance, or lack of product care.
- Defects caused by non-compliance with the user manual.
- Defects caused by incorrect assembly or adjustment.
- Modifications made to the product by the buyer.
- Damage caused by sharp objects, torsional stress, compression, falls, abnormal pressure, or other influences, including paint or chemical damage.
Warranty Claims:
All warranty claims are non-transferable. Upon discovering a defect, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product and provide them with the defective product along with the original purchase receipt.

Proof of purchase, including the date of purchase, dealer name and address, and product name, must be submitted with the warranty claim. DSC or the dealer reserves the right to refuse warranty claims if the original purchase receipt is not provided, or if it is incomplete or illegible.
If a warranty claim is approved, DSC or the dealer will repair or replace the product free of charge. The method of processing the warranty claim is at the discretion of DSC.
DSC reserves the right to substitute the warranty claim product with a comparable product of equal value if the original product is no longer available or if repairing the product would incur unreasonably high costs.
Exemption from Liability:
We are not liable for any damage or consequential damage resulting from the use of the product, whether based on the purchase contract, legal warranty claim, negligence, or otherwise. This includes damage to property other than the product itself, loss related to the use of the product or other items, or loss of profit.
